Often, the emulation results from the competition. But, whether at school, their sports clubs or even in the playground, our children are faced with enough competition situations.
The birthday of your child, you want a relaxed, without rivalry.
This is the perfect time to introduce children to games where everyone plays together and not against each other, associative or cooperative games.
Throughout the site, we try to foster this type of games.
Active Games: The backyard
Think of animals with varied cries: dog, cat, pig, duck, horse,.
Whisper softly the name of an animal to each child, taking care that each animal is represented at least twice.
Then count to three. At the signal, children should imitate the cry of their animal all together and find in this hubbub, one (or ones) who is (are) the same as they cry.
With older children, choose cries more difficult to imitate (rabbit, giraffe.)
Active Games: Foxes and squirrels
The children sit in a circle. Two cushions (foxes) are passed from hand to hand, they should not be discarded. The squirrel is a ball that can be passed from hand to hand or thrown to a player across the circle. Foxes must try to catch the squirrel.
Active Games: Balls of wool
For the game works well, the ideal number of players is 8 to 10. It is possible to play six. Beyond 12, everything becomes complicated.
The players stand in a circle, standing. Each player holds out a hand toward the center and grab the hand of a player who is not directly next to him. Then it turns the other hand, it is given to a person who is not given the first hand.
The ball of wool is formed, it will have to untangle without letting go of hands. The aim is to reconstruct a closed, although some players find themselves back in the center.
Active games: Day of Household
The children stand in a circle, standing each on a sheet of newsprint. They should come in order (size, age, alpha, etc..) But can not move while walking on the sheets of newspaper. They can – and must – exchange information aloud.
When everyone is in order, we choose another criterion, and again.
Quiet Games: Trade
Before the party, find pictures of famous people (it must be pictures of characters in the foot, in much the same height and same width) Provide as many characters as guests.
Then cut each character into five parts: head, shoulders, torso, legs and feet. Then mix all the pieces. Give each child five pieces at random.
At your signal, children need to trade to replenish their character.
Quiet Games: Character
A child leaves the room. The others choose a character trait (lazy, happy, etc.). The child comes back and tells the group to mime an action (washing clothes, climbing a tree, drive a car, etc..)
Thanks to the way they mimic, he must guess the trait.
Quiet Games: Masks
The children sit in a circle. The first is a face which is the second remake that reproduces the third to the fourth, etc..
There is no real goal of the game but laughter and good humor.
Keep a positive atmosphere during the festival
Do not always reward the winner with a prize of the game but noted that it is the winner by adding a positive comment (Well done, Simon, This time, you were the fastest, Marine, You are smart to hide objects Adam)
If you give rewards, choose lots of little value (candy, beads, stickers, etc..) The price should not be the focus of the game
If you want to distribute larger batches, arrange a game where each participant will receive a gift (angling, pass the packet, etc..) Or an activity or individual talents are rewarded (prices faster, the funniest , the most creative, most clever, etc.).
Provide different types of games. A clumsy child to games of skill may be more comfortable with riddles and vice versa.
Keep yourself positive. Encourage a child in need.
Do not let the kids make fun of the loser.
Point out the group’s talents and not everyone’s weaknesses.
If a small incident occurs, then quickly set it to propose a new activity in the wake not to let the discomfort settle.

Hi – very good website you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to write a comment to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief. I have always enjoyed functioning with computers and am attempting to learn code in my free time.
